Rewatching with you guys and Adorkable made a comment about the grim reaper saving the victim before they die…can’t remember how she phrased it…but got me thinking about the kdrama ‘Tomorrow’ where grim reapers were basically trying to save people before they die. Hope you can check that one out 😊

Like "It's good to be back? What does he mean by that?" lol my man he just came back to Korea its not resurrection. Like the keep getting stun locked by the reincarnation idea and ignoring obvious evidence that he is just leaving the country. Man is an immortal goblin that can't die, so he can't be reincarnated because you need to, ya know....die to be reincarnated lol

It was the talk of the town, their OSTs are hitting chart, the location they filmed turned into tourism spots, even the one in Quebec, their merch were always sold out. I am happy rewatching this with you. Just list down your questions and it will be answered in future episodes. You can guess about the future but dont dwell too much on it or you'll get lost. Everything will be answered in time. Have fun! This is too great!

The laws are often now always just. What's bothering me in addition to her age is her overall appearance and the fact that she's still in high school. Even in our country we have different customs. Where i grew up, it was considered weird to be 20 dating a high school girl at 18. See it's not just about the age, but also what phase they are in. You have to be 18+ AND out of high school before it becomes remotely appropriate to be with an older man around my social norms. I live in SW Florida and it can be remotely different in MIAMI and different among our races. I understand this show has a different culture and I'm fine with it LOGICALLY...but emotionally it gets wierd because ive spent 34 years of my life never needing to have think about it, interact with it, or tolerate it and BOOM Goblin Episode 1...lol Most of my anime reactions have an evolution of what i tolerate as well as i am exposed to it over and over and my mind has time to make sense of it.

But I'm quite progressive in that I don't see age gaps as an issue, in real life and more so in a fantasy setting when one of the s/o's is hundreds of years old. And maybe because I've seen the actress in a movie where she sleeps with an old man, that I don't even see the fact that Gong Yoo is almost 20 years older than her being a problem for casting either. I've also always been in to older men and women, so again, age gap was never an issue for me.

Legal drinking age is 21 and legal car rental age is 25 and you're kicked off your parents insurance (if they have family insurance) at 26. I don't see an issue with the age as she is an adult at 18, as it is in korea. The only reason they say '21' is because they count ages differently there. There is a korean age and an international age. Korean age can be anywhere between a year and 2 years ahead of what is considered the international age. So 21 there could be considered a late 18 around the rest of the world.

Whenever she mentions the sugar daddy counter, he suddenly appears, as if summoned... one episode, right after she blew out a lighter... Random cameos of characters from one show may be referenced or even appear in another for no reason, other than being a bit of fan service. I am never really sure. But, that one, I got. I think.

The Goblin played the male lead in Train to Busan who had the daughter, also played a small role in Squid Game. The kings adviser person that ya'll hated was the science teacher from All of Us Are Dead. The king was the young corrupt cop from Uncanny. Typing this out I just realized ya'll only recognized the female LOOL. But to be realistic shes super memorable compared to the others imo.

He's moving because it's suspicious for him to be around and not age. This helps the cover for his appearance. Rn he's deokhwas uncle because of the Deokhwas age, but when he gets older and Goblin doesnt people would be sus. So he would be coming back as Deokhwas son.
