His failure to complete the previous plan is actually more of a reason he'd think he'd do it better - I'm sure he's spent many hours turning in his head the options he missed the first time around that could have turned that situation differently, and he has far fewer distractions and loose ends to tie up this time. He's not weird - he's damaged and delusional.

I had to finish the obsessive binge I started Saturday w the YT reactions, and finished season 4 Tuesday while I waited for your reactions. I have thoughts, but I'll refrain from more comments here so I don't unintentionally allude to anything.

So he finds a company offering a device that isn’t common but that there is a niche or a need for. Buys that company, gets rid of the employees, sells off the tech that company has and reaps the benefits. He has also branched out into other things but the core of his business is that.
