also there's one thing I hate about subtitles on Korean shows that I'll never understand is that they don't translate Noona/Eonnie, Oppa/Hyung or Dongsaeng or Maknae correctly. When Sawol says Noona they translate it to Seol-ah but he's not saying her name. He says Noona which is akin to saying older sister. it's normally how a younger man would address an older woman/girl that he's close to whether they are biological or not. If she was a granny age he would say Ahjumma. for 5-8 he might call him Hyung, which means big brother. if it's a younger woman and older male they'd say oppa(big bro) to the older male and for and younger woman to an older woman they'd say Eonnie for big sis, and ahjussi for grandpa age. it helps a lot to get context on personal relationships between people. sometimes you'll hear fangirls call their idol crushes that are male "oppa" in a cute way. sometimes guys say it too but it's like...weird if guys say it to another guy because it usually alludes to them being gay or a little fruity :)

2023-06-01 16:22:42 +0000 UTCthere is a little bit of an audio sync delay between the media and the external speakers so I can hear a slight echo, not a huge deal but a little distracting. just a heads up~

2023-05-30 12:25:24 +0000 UTCWow, great episode. I don't think 5-8 will actually kill him cause he hasn't confronted the Ryu Seok guy and a death like that won't be fulfilling for the show... Also, they tested the mutant's blood from the MC, so he might be stronger? We'll see next episode.

2023-05-30 12:23:11 +0000 UTCThere’s no real evidence for the father to really out right take action against his son. I’m guessing, he believes once the government takes over, everything is solved. Ryu Seox will lose whatever power and influence he thinks he has.
