2023-05-21 22:41:00 +0000 UTCBTW so far all the Tensen have had the same VAs for male & female forms, albeit they sound slightly different because of their slightly varying personalities so the male & female voices kinda sound slightly different despite being the same 2 voices technically. I guess they are clones or some shit, w/ the legit one being where the immortality drug thingie at the center of the island is?

I think something had to resonate for you personally about the character in order to feel affected. For me it was the wedding scene. That he was truly serious about marrying the girl in his last moments. If that hadn't happened I don't think I would have been effected at all honestly. ๐ค I would not GOAT him though, that's a bit much. ๐

2023-05-21 04:45:38 +0000 UTCI like this episode and still like the series but I won't lie when I say I am disappointed with the repetitive "give a character backstory and kill them off immediately" type of writing. That was one of the biggest disappointments I had with demon slayer. It gave the villains a "sad backstory" immediately before death as if I was supposed to care at all. This is still a lot better writing overall but if it happens much more I will be tired of the repetitive nature of it. I don't feel much at all for characters that were barely introduced in the first place and now I am expected to care about them when you kill them off after their backstory? I have higher hopes for this series so hopefully it won't disappoint.
