She got in his truck because a few episodes ago, when he gave her skittles; he told her he always had some in truck and just to ask him if she wanted some again. With the Amy flashback we learned how Amy was with candy. We also saw Junie sneak too much chocolate a few episodes and throw up. Junie was sneaking in the truck to get Skittles. The writing in this show is crazy.

2023-05-12 16:59:42 +0000 UTCThis episode showed how similar Amy and Danny are, with how they were as kids and things they did: Amy back in the day screwing older guys from shady sites (which is related to how her Dad, an older male, cheated) and Danny bearing that pressure of “taking care of his younger brother” which is, partly, a product of Korean and Asian Seniority from a young age and how he threw Paul’s letters on the trash… The difference is that Amy seems to be taking accountability of her actions but Danny shifts the blame on other people. I feel like his house getting on fire is karma for his pride and the bad things he’s done, lol.
