Trauma recognizes trauma. Candace has a brother who’s on a recovery home or something, Beck is full of Daddy issues cause her Dad was an addict, Paco’s mom’s sister who was Joe’s neighbor in S1 had issues with Paco’s mom being in an abusive relationship, Love had a tough childhood and her ex-husband died from cancer, Delilah had absent parents I think and was abused by Henderson, Natalie had an absent husband who she didn’t love (she may be the most normal one haha) and now you have Marianne, who was also a foster kid like Joe and an addict with a shitty ex-husband. See the patterns? A healthy-minded woman wouldn’t stay with someone like Joe, lol.
