Not sure if you will see this, but episode 8+9 in the anime are mixed with filler which ruins the whole plot and also spreads misinformation for Bleach, If you wish to watch the "manga equivalent", there is an OVA of around 30min, called "Memories in the rain", if you like the story of Bleach, this episode is a very important even tho you already at TYBW.
