Scarecrow Wear and Tear, Yes or No?

Had the idea for Scarecrows to have their attire visibly wear out as their health drops lower. The first change would kick into effect at 50% health and the second would kick into effect at 25% health. They're quite tanky, but it is possible they'd be worn down while preying on their typical targets, so I thought it would be good for you to be able to visibly see how they're doing and potentially patch them up with some wool/string.
I have already gone ahead with this potential system and made it so that you can force the attire of a scarecrow to stay at a specific stage (regardless of health), if you use a phantom membrane on the scarecrow (which can be scraped off with an axe).
So I want to ask, should I keep this mechanic?
