I might be a little late but seeing her go threw her lack of confidence and conviction and knowledge of what a executioner should be at the beginning of her backstory to the full realization at the end of the episode was so poetic and honestly I feel like there should be more of that in the new age of anime.

Because she has doubts in her skill, she does that a lot to try to see the real nature of the person she executes or how gabimaru feels really after killing.
