2023-04-05 01:12:32 +0000 UTCThe crazy thing is this all happens just past the halfway point of the manga. For most romcoms this would be the end goal but for me this is when the real shit begins. It goes into pretty heavy emotional territory. It takes what we thought we just hilarious running gags like Miyuki being an aggressive overachiever who is tired and Kaguya being ruthless and socially inept and says "No these are actually serious problems for them". Miyuky having an inferiority complex after his mom left and Kaguya being shut off and unable to understand others because of her cold upbringing made this story feel so much more real.

I am pretty sure at least half the next season will be focusing on the side characters more and the last half will focus on President and Kaguya.
