Introducing: The Basaltmite!

The Basaltmite is a nether variant of the silverfish that brings some more unique mechanics with them. Unlike their overworld counterparts, they will be neutral by default, but can be angered in more than just attacking them.
They are an old split from the overworld silverfish that somehow entered the nether and slowly evolved to fit there. They will bring a way to get extra of the nether ores and even get some bonus netherite scrap, though it won't be as easy as the other ores :3

2025-01-28 16:49:24 +0000 UTCI have something to ask though: could they have special interactions with piglins (both vanilla and Pcraft ones). I thought of a few ways they could see each other and interactions: -Considering basaltmites can eat the netherrack or blackstone from the nether gold ores, I can actually see piglins keeping them around and see them as a useful pet. -Since piglins are one of the few creatures that can be naturally hostile to creatures that are not the player (wither skeletons and sometimes hoglins), I think they might have tried to hunt the basaltmites at first, seeing them as threats. Because of that, basaltmites could have evolved to naturally have some undigested gold added to their exoskeleton as trims. (this one's more of a personal preference, 'cause I think some bits of gold on them would look gorgeous).
