2024-09-12 16:41:37 +0000 UTCin India we have to have the disclaimer for movies/tv shows/even ads, otherwise there are random people who will sue the producer saying their feelings got hurt or their tribe/caste/religion was shown bad in the movie etc.. by the way the original language of the film is Telugu but Netflix didnt buy the Telugu version. The villain lady is from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

I like to describe the over-the-top action as "wrestling over-the-top" because that's the kind of extra selling you see when watching wrestlers performing in front of a live crowd and emphasizing moves so the people sitting at the very cheapest seats can see what's going on. It's just the right amount of extra to satisfy the "rule of cool" so you don't care that it looks a little fake.

Of course it wasn't all as cartoonishly mustache-twirling evil like this depicts, but some of it definitely was. Roughly 100 years of some pretty intense stuff, much of it happening less than 100 years ago.
