Look at what he has done every time anyone close to him dies. After polly, john, and grace died he was right back to completing his tasks. Lizzie was around for all those deaths she should know him by now. Hell even may in season 4 could instantly see that tommy didn’t really change after john died.

She knew exactly what tommy was like when she was sleeping with him on the side while trying to marry his brother. It bothers me when she constantly whines about his behavior like he just started acting this way.
