Naga has to go back into teasing mode and he's developed a thick enough skin to not just manage it, but bounce back from it in record time. That's the face she always made when she's blushing after she gets embarrassed while getting her L from senpai. At 17:25 senpai looked over at Nagatoro and saw her disappointed face, that's why he gave her the gift immediately without hesitating. Watch her face during this scene and she's showing her disappointment.
