Oh thanks Casper. Healthy relationships was my focus. Dont know if I mentioned but usually when she talks about a boy it’s because he’s mean. So noting a nice one and encouraging her choice to entertain that friendship is key

As a teacher I'd like to thank you for not freaking out and chasing your daughter away from healthy friendships with the opposite sex. Most kids at that age start branching out with friendships but its often stymied by the parents. Its always better just to be watchful and careful than to scare your daughter away from a chance to learn about friendship in a fundamental fashion especially since boys are totally safe at this age from a biological perspective.

Lee I totally believe that you did the right thing I mean if your daughter is nice to other people and this person is nice to her and she wants to give him a thank you for him being nice and getting him something I don't see a problem with that man I believe you did the right thing and I don't think you have anything to worry about sounds like you both are raising her to be a great person
