There is a line of kenpachi zaraki killed another kenpachi to get his position while unohana was a healer in squad 4. There are more Kenpachi. There is two of them that are mentioned in kubo light novels.

Byakuya almost died due to his own lack of power, it had nothing to do with Renji Oetsu is likely much older than Yamamoto. Although, there's some information present on a younger Yamamoto, that didn't have his zanpakuto yet and he lost to a certain hollow that had to be defeated by Oetsu and Ichibe (monk)

A small misconception I'd like to correct; the Royal Guard are not the same as the original Gotei 13. If you compare the silhouettes none of them have the same design as any of the Royal Guard outside of potentially Ichibe (monk dude). And Hikifune came significantly after, having been a captain around the time of the Turn Back the Pendulum arc, where it was stated only Unohana, Shunsui, and Ukitake were the only captains outside of Yamamoto who were over a hundred years old.

I think the point adorkable was making when talking about the original gotei is the fact that yhwach said that they were a bunch of ruthless killers and unohana was apart of that group.

It was actually mentioned quite a while back that Zaraki killed the previous Kenpachi before him. So there has been a line of Kenpachi's(this was during Ikaku's flashback/episode 118-120 I think). The theory with Unohana is that she might have abdicated her spot of Kenpachi and taken over squad 4 after learning healing techniques. Also, this episode was a callback to Zaraki naming her lieutenant. If you watch that scene (after his fight with Ichigo around episode 39 I think) again where he first met the young baby of a lieutenant, he told her "I'll give you the name of the person I admire the most". Unohana's moniker is Yachiru(master of 8 thousand styles). Zaraki named his lieutenant Yachiru.

I read somewhere that the zaraki vs unohana fight is the closest thing to a sex scene you’ll get in bleach.

Now worked, and Adorkable mad perceptive noticed so fast that blood on Unohana's cheek and understood it really happened, while Kenpachi is confused as hell. PS. Kenpachi Zaraki wasn't the one who made Squad 11 what it was, but Unohana. So all your talk about SQ 11 not listening is because how Unohana made it be :D

Ichigo always have brute force training so if you think like him when he said : all we do is eat and take bath, doing jokes it is not what he used to unlike Renji who is a soul society lieutenant and he is probably more familiar with this since he had to go in the academy, learn basics etc...like Kirio said so yeah it's not "obvious" in Ichigo's mind

Great reactions as always but a couple things I would note is that zaraki is the 11th kenpachi and no one in squad 0 was a captain in the first invasion by the Quincy’s 1000 years ago because they were already appointed to the royal palace. Also of all the reactions to this episode Ive seen Adorkable is the first person to realize and say that it’s obvious that one of them has to die and who has to die because of the kenpachi code

Back in the Soul Society arc Zaraki says in a flashback that he named Yachiru (his vice-captain) after the person he admires. Now we learn that Unohana's full name is Yachiru Unohana. Also, Zaraki is the 11th Kenpachi, there were 9 Kenpachi between them. It was stated in the OG anime that Zaraki killed the 10th Kenpachi and that's how he became a captain about a 100 years ago (in the flashback arc of Urahara they talk about a dude who killed a captain and everyone is worried what kind of guy he is).
