2022-12-30 22:43:54 +0000 UTCA is a bit too static/stagnant for me. B has the energy...that I've seen so many times before. It's a common composition that works well bc it's strong and action-packed. I like how C and D use the weapon as a focal in the foreground, and I'm going to have to give my vote to D. D doesn't seem to have any more movement than A, but the side profile takes away the strength of the character for me. And I think with C (as similar as it is to D), the outstretched hand is competing too much with the weapon and face for focus. In D, I have a better sense of peering up at a towering figure commanding respect. Looks good!

2022-12-30 19:05:32 +0000 UTCD would be more byakuya imo but C feels like it embodies more of the other characters while using the zanpakuto. If that makes sense. Oh, C could also be rotated slightly without looking weird if you needed to use the art in a more horizontal spot.
