2022-12-28 17:19:53 +0000 UTCThis episode, and the previous one brought back all the disappointment that I had for this arc years ago. No Isshin fight, like Tsukishima was build up as the main antagonist messing with the Kurosaki family and no reaction from Isshin. There was no point narrative to had Byakuya fight Tsukishima, and no real fight for Chad, poor Orihime didn't get to do much either. My boy Tessai who's been missing for hundreds of episode only shows up to say a couple of lines and we never gotten a proper fight from him. We have 3 captain level shinigami back at Urahara's shop just to look after Orihime and Chad, such wasted potential in this arc. I also was expecting Don Kanonji to be a fullbringer and have been keeping tabs on Ichigo since the beginning of the series, on behalf of Ginjo.
