I was told that this was a like a prequel to the weak hero manwha focusing more about what happened about the middle school days, but after watching 2 episodes it doesn't seem like it especially since they are in high school already. It's probably closer to a spin off, focusing more on the mc story instead of the delinquent wars it had in the manwha. Yeon lost his feminine looks, and started to fight back really early. An Soo seems more of a combination of of Stephen An became really similar to Ben park, while Bryce Oh became really similar to eugene gale. This might change but thats how I see it right now.

Btw female teacher is different person than what our MC watches on computer as that is his mom what we learned from episode 1.

A lot of times I feel like if I don't at least say "Hmmm" or something while someone's speaking then they'll think I'm just zoning out and not listening and they'll feel awkward. So I totally understand gassing someone up like, "No I'm interested in what you're saying! Please keep going!" I'd imagine that's gotta be like x100 when you're content creating and attempting to make your discussion entertaining as well as deep.
