Even with weapons I don't think Loid will win a straight out fight with Yor. In almost every fight she has she is regularly dodging bullets. Not to mention Yor mainly fights with a weapon too. It's just a matter of their specialty. Loid's specialty is not fighting, it's making plans and his genius level intellect. Like a batman vs superman kind of thing.

2023-11-25 00:43:35 +0000 UTCI don't even think its a question of skills anymore, No matter how much skilled at fighting you are, you are not going to be able to beat a silverback gorilla or a big bear, hand to hand. And I think yor is stronger than any of those since she's able to kick away a speeding car without getting a scratch. Of course, if it was anything other than fighting, Yor would easily lose to Loid, but in combat I doubt Loid would win even if he was serious.

2022-12-13 04:49:04 +0000 UTCI would countered with a point here. No doubt Yor is physically stronger than Loid and she’s skilled in killing. However, using the role playing castle episode as an example is not the correct measurement of their skill differences. Firstly, Yor was drunk and had mistook Loid fully as an enemy, thus she’s intend to kill. Secondly, during that scene, Loid has no intention of fighting Yor, thus he has been holding back with her. So of course one who is holding back will lose to one who is giving her all. Thus if Loid fights someone else with similar strength and skills as Yor, that scene outcome might be slightly different as he’s going all-out using all his skills to defeat that opponent.

2022-12-11 22:54:53 +0000 UTCTwilight might be incredibly versatile, but when it comes to pure physical power and fighting ability, Yor far outclasses Loid, the the point that her abilities seems more like a super power than Anya's telepathy. You can literally see this at play during season 1 when they did that roleplaying in the castle. Loid almost got bodied, the only reason he was saved was because Yor was drunk and she slipped.

Loid mentioned in one of the episode that the school views a complete family as one of the important criteria for their students to be accepted into the school. Thus Yor still plays an important role as a wife to complete the Forger family. If they were to split at this point, Anya may be kicked out of school or not given much attention anymore.

One thing I think y’all forgot (not that crazy that y’all missed/forgot this) is that the school that Anya goes to takes family life very important. The handler even said to nightfall that removing yor now could cause lots of problems for the mission so her spot as a wife seems somewhat secure. At least from my interpretation of the anime. As always love y’all shit keep up the great content

Also, Loid getting the caramel nut and apple cakes were for Anya and Yor, respectively, as those are each of their favorite flavors of candy/sweets. The little things this show does is great.
