I know they are hearing us say the anime will reveal the information but it’s not registering with people. I don’t understand it. I also didn’t read the comment. I saw Thamor come through and it basically helps me mark which comment to not read.

I disagree, and Claire was negotiable, until her brother came up and broke out of her chains. Her breaking out of her chains was more the issue than her attitude. All the death threats in the world don't matter as long as you stay where they want you to stay.

Nah man, her tone was lifeless, and so were her eyes. Everything she said was essentially, "Oh really? Cool. Sorry." Short basic responses. I think she was okay with dying. She didn't even hesitate when the demon thing got close to her. Remember she was surprised that it chose to save her not kill her? It might have to do with royal pride and being looked down on, comparing her to her sister so often. Before we saw her in that state she had a conversation with Cid, our MC. Something about what he said bothered her so much to aim a sword at him. So she already, in my opinion, was already in a bad state of mind before her capture.

He can block pain with his magic, that was explained in the first book. He learned how to do that when he was younger and still fighting the bandits. It's something the anime didn't cover, would have made this episode make more sense though.

On the concept of the slime thing. They didn't really explain it in the anime which they already did at this point in the story but to be able to control the slime you have to use mana and the whole idea of him being able to use slime so well is because he has such fine control over his mana.

This main character is what happens when you mix Ains from Overlord and Leon from Trapped in a dating sim. his squad runs everything for him and assumes he is the supreme leader and he does everything he can to remain a simple background character. really loving this show

My take on Alexis's behaviour was that she was aware the she was kidnapped by a very dangerous mentally ill person, and that for her safety, it'd be best to go along with them, being very easy to work with and aggitate them. Compare that to Claire, the sister, who was very combative and argumentative to her kidnapper, resulting in her getting beat by him.
