On top of it, we know that when the demogorgen came after Will in Season 1, the demo had physic abilitys. So unless the writers severely messed up or its an actual plot that Will was chosen for something.

When Max went into Vecna’s mind, the way Chrissy and Fred had those vines inside them, it’s the exact same way Will had one inside his mouth back in Season 1 when Hopper and Joyce found him. But Will was able to survive because, somehow, he lived one whole week in the Upside Down and his mom plus Hop saved him. He’s the only person who’s done that. I hope we get some answers because Will must have went through hell there and we don’t know shit. Like, we know nothing. I wanna know more!

So while mike is bullied and feels like hes different hes still just a regular dude, but L actually is different from everyone else so when people react that way to her its not unwarranted from her view.
