Ok. Sorry to hear those shows didn't get the views you're hoping for. You liked the shows, but they gave u a disappointment on views. Got it. Mark my words, tho, Steins:Gate and Bunny Girl are gonna be "long tail" shows, getting more views in 5 years than most of your other shows. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Some of the best shows like Abyss might look "boring" at the start because they don't blow their load out of the gate with all flash and no substance... they do some slow foreplay with you in order to build up to the climax. Specific example since you've seen the whole show now - if we got the "nicer" version of Nagatoro and her friends from episode 1, there would literally have been no point in the show. Her show almost works better the more you hate her at the start bcuz you'll really do a 180 by the end.

2022-09-15 06:35:58 +0000 UTCI think they do a great job with the art and animation of the anime. It is pretty consistent and the high budget stuff is used when it is needed. I also think the kevin penkin soundtracks really add an amazing impact behind the scenes. The music he makes for this series is pretty great. Reminds me a lot of how MHA had scenes but they were brought to a whole other level because of how impressive the soundtracks were behind those scenes. This is just me trying to make an example tho. In my opinion made in abyss is different and has a whole other league of story writing in comparison so that just makes it all the better.

If season 3 gets confirmed when 2 ends I may hold off but I am not completely sure yet. It may depend on how the season ends.

You will be super invested by season 2 and even more so when you get done with season 2. This isn't a series that grabs you immediately but it grabs you as you get into it and doesn't let go
