The manga made it seem like it was just a mere second but that’s only because it’s not moving or animate. Kidd said a moment. A “moment” is not exactly a good way to describe exactly how long the block was🤷♂️

But isn't it rather convenient, that Kaido uses a sword just that one time, cause Orochi can seemingly survive getting his head chopped off?😅 Also the Zoro blocking scene was not that much better in the manga, since they talked there aswell, but with the pacing of the anime it feels so weird.
