Personally I would still wanna hear more. I remind people of the boys s1 ep 8. We are often just hesitant of throwing a label on someone without proof beyond a reasonable doubt. So Director was looking for “the smoking gun” and there was none from our view point. We never saw much commentary about Max’ other friends besides Lucas. Publically applying a label such as that and getting wrong….just not cool.

Anyways love the reactions can’t wait for season 3!

2022-09-03 10:11:26 +0000 UTCNah he loves the idea of her because you can't love someone you don't know, Steve doesn't know Nancy, not on a deep level, all the things he knows about her are surface level superficial stuff, an image of herself that she presents to the world but isn't really her, that's why every instance of Steve trying to get close to Nancy ended in failure. Also it doesn't matter HOW Nancy told Jonathan her biggest fear but that she felt comfortable enough with him TO tell him, in a way she had never felt comfortable with Steve. And yes I have watched ALL seasons of the show and still stand by this statement.

Jonathan only knows about Nancys biggest fear because Nancy told him when they were searching for the Demigorgon, it's not Steve's fault she never told him. Jonathan loves Nancy as well but Steve 100% loves her, not just the idea of her.

Steve is in love with the idea of Nancy, not Nancy herself. And Nancy has never been in love with Steve, she only saw him as someone to have fun with but never a serious thing, Jonathan and Nancy actually built a friendship first before becoming a couple and took time to get to know each other, Jonahtan and Nancy will ALWAYS BE BETTER.

When in reality he still needed time to think it over. But they were for sure not together. Johnathan and Nancy's relationship progressed too fast because of the "share trauma" trope that build strong bonds in movies and TV series.

Steve was kinda out of the loop in the beginning so she got close to jonathan and its just a whole teenage drama. its just sad to see that steve did want to make up but Nancy already moved on from him...in like a few days lol

I’ve never seen, or heard from my friends, of breaking up with a girl without saying “I don’t want to be in a relationship anymore” or something along those lines
