I’m gonna give this series 3 episodes the same as WandaVision because WandaVision didn’t turn up until episode three. But so far I’m not impressed at all this writing sucks and I don’t mean it’s “kind of bad” I mean it sucks random super villain coming in at the end A joke of a training arc that wasn’t really a training arc just “I know what I’m doing” and she was right. Telling Bruce who’s literally been lied to most of his life being betrayed left and right. While always trying to kill him Her telling him that she controls her anger infinitely better because of getting cat called and not wanting to be called emotional while Bruce is looked at as a literal monster… that’s just tone death writing. The actress is phenomenal but whoever is directing and writing the show is awful. This show did not have a clear central message had no structure. I feel like i’m just disappointed in it. At the very least even the other shows that had a slow start there felt like there was a reason this one felt like the middle of a sitcom or comedy trying to make jokes that nobody got the punchline too

She doesn't have DID like Bruce does and her powers are more diluted since she got it through blood and not the gamma blast, By the way don't get it twisted She Hulk is not stronger than Hulk, it's not even close. She's a great character and more than her Hulk form but if were talking power they exist in different dimensions. Also she hulk healed from regular injuries while Hulk healed from the injury caused by the infinity gauntlet.

When he became Hulk he was constantly chased by the government and battling against his alternate personality. Thats why he is like just accept the situation because he thinks that problems are still going to follow her into her work like what we saw in the end.

I'm a hulk fan, my favorite hero has always been hulk. This show is doing more justice to the character than the ones that think they know the character better than marvel which is not true. And overall I thought the episode was good. This version of the hulk is far from my favorite but it's not bad. Her speech about how she controls her anger infinitely more did irk me not because of how or why she said it but because of who she said it to. If it was a regular dude I would have said that's valid but she said it to Bruce fucking Banner. She does not do it infinitely better than him, It is not even close or a fair comparison.

Hulk is clearly stronger than She Hulk. He wasnt trying to use full power on her. Smart Hulk and She Hulk were made decades ago. So I guess that means Marvel went woke before the term was invented. People are upset that she is more nimble than the hulk during the balance exercise. Hulks Muscular frame wouldnt allow him to twirl on one arm into a pose like she did. If they showed him doing that people would laugh and call it stupid. But because She Hulk did it they are mad. The first 3 times we seen Hulk in the Theaters he was savage raging hulk. All of these Hulk fans didnt really support it. Now they are using Smart Hulk which is cannon and all of the Hulk fans are crying that he isnt just a raging monster who doesnt speak. I think you can not enjoy this show, but If your reasons are because She Hulk is stronger than Hulk, The MCU is woke, Hulk is weak, then you are wrong. You are hiding your misogyny behind those excuses and you are just repeating what you heard online.

I think this one is going to be fun though. Also, I'm really looking forward to seeing how much Fourth-Wall breaking they're going to allow for her character. So far we got 2-3 breaks in one episode and I hope that's an element to her character that will stick around. I don't know why, but I love that shit. Fun question. When she had turned to the camera and said "he doesn't mean that", do you think that was the first time she noticed she was actually talking to the audience? I could be wrong, but I feel like she had that "What the hell did I just do?" face. What do you think?

I’m not trying to be some misogynistic hater, the fact that I’m speaking up so much about this should show that I want it to be similar(plot and character based) to every other super hero show. The feeling to need to do the most with female lead DC/Marvel shows is what’s bringing them down, in some peoples eyes. Just crazy that someone speaks up about story telling and the use of plot devices and suddenly they’re some sexist pig, not saying you specifically are saying that but I’ve seen it.. I’m just a guy who enjoys a movie or show with a solid structure, and not when writers use said structure to spread they’re own beliefs

Why should they change it to something completely new that wasn't established within the MCU when it comes to Jen becoming a Hulk? It's like complaining about Peter Parker having the same type of origin from the comics across different medias/platforms. Jen will go through a character arc and see that she can also be a hero as well. Instead of creating a whole new plot device to give her her powers, they just use the comic book version but swapped the gender roles to make her seem more heroic, and in my opinion make it seem like she’s better than Bruce. All this talk about women power but they have to copy the original story because they’re too daft to create something original while keeping the same message. Also her attitude towards Bruce isn’t a flaw if the show never makes it a flaw.. it’s like Captain Marvel, she acts uptight, acts like she knows everything, no one can speak up to her, no one can suggest she do something, but if the movie or show never addresses those flaws then the movie or show will continue like it’s a normal thing for a hero to act like that 😂

She-Hulk always had control to differentiate her from Bruce and to show that Bruce literally had a personality disorder that was brought to the front due to being the Hulk. What do we even want as fans if that still pisses people off. Plus isn't her attitude towards Bruce and about herself the character flaw you're looking for. Altho if she doesn't get a character arc about that by the end where she understandss Bruce and being the Hulk more then I'm in complete agreement lol.

This was literally the same thing with what's happening here. She hulk somehow has better genetics, better control, better healing factor and no alter ego with none of the drawbacks, no price to pay or almost no training at all. What's even worse is her condescending attitude towards Bruce that she's somehow better than him because she's getting catcalled or mansplained, when Bruce suffered under an abusive father, see his mother beat to death and wanted but the government for half a decade and literally hurt everyone everytime he transforms. They could've balanced it out by adding some kind of compromise, like in exchange for having better control and better healing factor she hulk woud be weaker physically than hulk but she makes up for it by using her training in martial arts and her brain. Or go the other way around and in exchange for being stronger than hulk she has a harder time controlling her she-hulk state. But no, disney decided to give her everything on a silver platter, and make bruce jealous as the icing on the cake. The only thing I really liked was their chemistry when they were competing with each other, and bruce telling her to fix the bar but does it anyway, but thats like only a few minutes of the show.

If I recall it happened in both the Ang Lee and Ed Norton Hulk films. This just keeps with the idea and also makes a bit more sense than Bruce knowingly giving his cousin a blood transfusion of his radioactive, gamma infected blood like he did in the comics.

In most of the movies where Hulk works are the ones where he’s more like a supporting character. So I think the directors making the Hulk movies doesn’t understand Hulk enough to make it work. So I don’t think we’ll get those adaptations soon.
