Also, this whole thing of “I’m a background character” is only believable in Leon’s mind because (my theory) he doesn’t want to fully believe that this is his life now… yes, It looks like the game, has some plot point/events like the game but surely there’s enough evidence to confirm that at this moment with the information that he has, it’s not what he used to know and that what he’s doing will alter all actions and persons around him… it’s not scripted anymore but he fails hard to see that.

2022-08-06 06:04:46 +0000 UTCI kinda wish the 'slaves' in all these isekai's would react the way olivia reacted to him(yes i know shes not a slave but shes a commoner, also there are so many slave girls in isekais this year). from the isekai worlds characters perspective, it would be really wierd to suddenly meet someone who doesnt pay attention to social norms. they would probably be waay more suspicious about it.

2022-08-05 20:55:59 +0000 UTChe is in such a tough position i get it. he knows everything that happens and is going to happen in the world and how it all SHOULD happen. he knows hes attatched to livia and angie but he refuses to accept hes more than just a background character out of his own insecurities. he couldnt answer olivia because he couldnt tell her what was really going on. im really enjoying this series and the writing in it. its a lot deeper than it seems at surface level. what he doesnt understand is that him and the other girl have been thrown into this equation that was stable and from the moment he entered that world it wasnt going to play out like it was supposed to. the extra "weight" so to speak threw off the balance. the world has already completely deviated from the path it was supposed to be on
