Class A doesn't give a fk about the lower classes. They really just be playing their own game, to see which leader gains more influence over their own class. Ayanokoji's plays are savage lol. I wouldn't say that his scheme backfired. It did in fact work for his group cos that's all he could control, due to the class being split up. His plan to deceive his group on the fake identity of the V.I.P ended with a traitor getting the answer wrong. So yea it was quite the success. But yeea Class D as a whole kinda lost. Hence why Ayanokoji recruiting Kei here is important. It gives him more power over the whole class itself. Well.. the girls' side anyway, thru Kei.

But this doesn't take much brains to watch at all, half of the "genius" plays aren't even explained at all, they already happened and then are explained afterword's. That formula is meant to be much more easily understood and simplified for viewers.
