I know that this a two year old comment and you've probabily already been corrected, but Ainz was a dog shit build for PVP and Ainz ool gown was top 1 for a very short time, after most of the top guild members left momonga/ ainz kept it in the top 20, which is still good but no where near the top. basically, he was a great negotiator and strategizer which is what kept him a top 10 player. basically Ainz wanted to roll play which gave him a above average build, but not enough for top 5.

Ainz has a few Things that are not really explained in the anime but His 2 primary Stregnths are Summoning and Death. in all of the fights we have seen in the anime season 3< has not even sratched the surface. his spell *The Goal of all life is Death* bypass all immunities to Insta-death magic. Which IS ALOT of ainz spells he couldn't use his summons against Shalter beacuse it would of just gave her moveable health sacks. The only few people that Could beat Ainz was. Lord Touch me if you can and only 1 of other person could beat Him and that might be a spoiler Depending on how the Anime goes about it. Peroroncino made Shalter in the literly sense To Completely Counter Ainz and be Strong enough to Kill anyone else. There were ways for Ains to Kill Shaltear alot more simple but it would of resulted in not being able to ressurect her. the 1st season fight he couldn't use certain instakills beacuse of 2 things 1) testing if killing her and ressurection by item would remove the Mindcontrol Effect. 2) True death sepll and the Gaol of all life is death Sepll. would of made her not be able to revive her in the Great hall of Nazarick.

2022-08-17 06:46:09 +0000 UTCwell there's one NPC that stronger than all of them and it only listens/respects ainz(supreme being) and takes orders directly from ainz and if its him and her literally no one can win against them they could beat all of nazarick combined, unless someone activates floor 8 NPCs but only ainz can so its a whole merk. nazarick isnt ran on powerscales its ran on hierarchy there are stronger NPCs holding down Nazarick while the floor guardians and battle maids are doing things outside the tomb

In the New World if you have a longer name you have a greater title.. it’s like how the Trolls viewed people but reversed (idk if someone’s mentioned this before) 2. You see how friendly Albedo is with the Princess, she HATES humans so the fact that shes so friendly with her shows us that the Princess fits in perfectly lol (the first time we can connect Ainz with Renner is when Demuirge flys towards the castle, it’s poorly done cause you can barely tell where he’s flying to lol).. it’s honestly so great to watch reactors who express they’re love for this show the way you guys do 🙏🏽🔥 (sorry for the long message 😅)

Like I said in my other comment it would take multiple NPC's and the possibility of quickly taking ainz out is little to none. It would be a multiple person hit on ainz and it would probably come down to them fighting him to kill him off. But at the same time if even one or two NPC's still side with him like albedo and/or shalltear it would completely change things up. One or two top NPC's along with ainz against all the other NPC's is enough to make it evenly matched

2022-07-19 00:52:00 +0000 UTC@John What I am mainly saying is that he wasn't the lowest tier in anything. Even if his class is kinda shit for pvp he still is very much capable. Leader doesn't have to do with physical strength all that much (the guild was full of top dogs so of course the leader has to be at least powerful enough to be part of that guild) but it has a lot to do with knowing how to play the game and mental capabilities. Its like the saying you are either a leader that leads the followers or a follower that follows the leader.

I get the staff is important, but I really don't need to know every square inch of what it looks like. Let my mind do a little figuring itself. It just gets a little dry in my personal opinion. I don't think they're bad, just not my bag.

He just started out at the bottom before he met his guild friends and they created the guild. He is not the lowest out of the group in any way. You literally have to think about it like it was when he went up against shalltear. Ainz has a specific weakness which is holy attacks because he is a skeleton build. He is literally a top dog in magic which is his specialty. He overcame shalltear which based on her build should have by all means beat ainz because of all those weaknesses and her other OP abilities. If the group of NPC's ganged up against him yea he would lose but he is great enough that he is definitely taking down half of the all the NPCs before he goes down. He isn't the most intelligent but he is plenty intelligent enough to figure stuff out when needed. On top of all of that the dude literally knows way more about the game and all of the items and weapons and magics etc.... than anyone else unless he encounters another player trapped in the game. Please clarify what you mean because you saying that is wild to me based on what I think you meant. You must not have been paying attention my guy. He was not low in any terms. He could have definitely lost to other guild member but you have to remember what I said about things being super effective against him and all of the components going into what a match against the other guild members would be like. Everyone has weaknesses. You can't say without a doubt that he was the absolute most powerful out of the guild because so many components go into that type of thing. Also another big thing ainz has over the NPC's is that he was literally part of creating them. He memorized all of what they were created from. Ainz isn't the top dog in everything but he sure as heck wasn't the lowest in anything either.

Albedo feels a connection with Renner because of their twisted sense of love. To top it all off, Renner is pretty much the floor guardian of Re-Estize if you treat it as a part of Nazarick now.

Ainz was very good at analysing opponents, and would often develop effective counter strategies on the fly. Combining this with his ridiculous spell count and limit-broken mana pool made him the wild card of the guild. Ainz was considered to be slightly above average for a mid-tier level 100 player, but this was solely due to his role-play based build. If he had a min-max build then he would definitely be in the upper-tier of high end players.

2022-07-13 03:37:12 +0000 UTCCouple of things that you missed or weren't explained but no spoilers: So Phillip is not just infatuated with Albedo, he is actually dumb and unbelievably arrogant. As his father said he antagonised their neighbours which isn't just a problem militarily but economically and politically. They need to cooperate with each other just to survive. He also says that a hostile nation will help them (a small, poor, useless and unknown barony) purely for publicity, which is a ridiculous idea on its face. The father acts defeated because he can't believe his own son is that stupid, not to mention that he is now heir to their land. Basically Hilma and Albedo are using him as he is and he is even stupider than they realised. For why Albedo talks about an inevitable food shortage remember over 180,000 soldiers just died, and unlike the empire which uses professional soldiers the kingdom uses conscripts and levies (S3 for reference) so most of them are farmers and the like. That's 180,000 people worth of resources that will not be produced while their dependants still need food. This isn't helped by the fact the entire kingdom is heavily corrupt from two centuries of stagnation, the infighting between the royal and noble factions and the recent loss of a major fortress city.

I do agree, Trapped in a Dating Sim was probably the only decent isekai in a bit imo. Still not on same level as the top tier ones like Overlord, and Mushoku Tensei.

But you are correct, Ains is pretty intelligent, but he is totally in different life and situation from his earlier life.
