Come to find out the writers and directors all flew to China to get him to be the husband, Jackie would have killed it in this movie. I enjoyed this movie, but could have used a 20 min shorter run time.

Confronting and reshaping your mind ALWAYS requires an external point of view. I've asked many ignorant and embarrassing questions (in hindsight) in my life. They still make me cringe and feel awful to this day, but they helped me to shape my perception of the world and the people in it to a degree of understanding that I couldn't have even fathomed back then. Conversation is important. Sometimes that conversation can tell a lot of ugly truths about who you are in that moment. That moment, however, is fleeting. It's on you whether you learn the right lessons from the wrong ideas and apply them to your character. Shit, sorry. Got all philosophical. My brain was mulling over that shit like crazy when Lee said that.

The next A24 movie should be X (2022).
