This island is called the different things by the fandom. The Japanese name is Hachinosu. This literally translates to Beehive and from what I understand it can also be an idiom meaning "pumped full of lead". So the three names are Hachinosu, Fullalead Island, and Beehive Island. Another important thing to mention is that this island isn't THE pirate paradise, it's just A pirate paradise. Probably the biggest and most infamous pirate paradise in the story but not the only one that exists in the world. Only mentioning this cause a couple more islands get named simply as "pirate paradise" without actually giving the name of the island and it gets confusing if you don't pay attention.

I mean Roger smiling is just more proof that he died. All Ds that have died were smiling when they did. Jaguar D Saul and Ace for instance. Plus Roger as already dying of a sickness, which was why he let himself be executed in the first place. Olus they stabbed him and displayed his corpse to hundreds of spectators and likely destroyed the body or kept it somewhere only they know of.
