I don't remember him doing anything in particular to steal the throne. Hilling was the one who set that up. He's also like 10 so I'm 100% ok with him crying when things don't go his way

As far as we know he wasn't being controlled but the first thing he did was order the death of one of his officers and have another kill his brother. Daida doesn't know Bojji is alive. Daida is still a little shit who conspired to steal the throne and now that he's in trouble he's crying for mommy to come save him. I don't have the sympathy to spare on him.
