Roger was not the type to make deals. If he wanted something than he took it. I also don't believe Big Mom had the power to stop him from taking it 20 years ago. The big mom pirates were sure still powerful but I don't think they were on Roger crew level. Whitebeard and Garp were his only rivals

I wonder if Big Mom took 50 years from Rogers Life in exchange for him to see Red Pone-glyph in that room where Brook fought Big Mom. I think it was back Saoboady that Rayleigh said that Roger caught an incurable disease. It will makes sense story wise why Roger knew exactly how much time he had left to live. We know that Rogers ambition was probably more important than his own life, so I can see him trading his lifespan for information. Big Mom didn't know that Roger had the ability to hear the voice of all things, which is probably why she let him see the her Red Pone-glyph.

Also multiple sons and daughters have married so it is possible their spouses and children are counted as crew members. So it is possible that someone like Baron Tamago is married into the family and is married to one of Big Mom's daughters.

2022-02-13 20:11:46 +0000 UTCI get that its important to build tension and suspense, but that last episode was one of those that are really bad for my anxiety issues. I love one piece to death man, but when the anime start using every obvious trick in the book to slow things down at important times like this, it literally sends my anxiety to the heavens. Not saying I didn't enjoy that whole ep though. It certainly did it's job with all that tension. I caught myself before tossing my phone at the ground while waiting for the Sunny to move, lol. Loved the ending with Luffy's decision and Katakuri!

2022-02-13 04:54:43 +0000 UTCYou might be misremembering because when the chapter originally came out, it was mentioned that Katakuri's fruit was a logia but that was later retconned in the volume release and in the anime to a special paramecia. I'm pretty sure they explain his DF abilities in a future episode. As Carrot said, Katakuri's abilities are like Luffy's. Oda kind of foreshadowed this back when he revealed Katakuri's bounty, it has a 57 in it somewhere.

It’s VERY clear what his fruit type is. I think Sonic was operating being “safe” without spoiling for me because the anime naturally will explain this very clearly. So i think it was a solid explanation

2022-02-12 22:18:02 +0000 UTCYes, other than the typo in the description ("now flaws", ROFL) the video is now good, thanks for getting it back to us so fast and for caring about going back and fixing it. You had made an observation earlier that Katakuri's Devil Fruit ability is similar to Luffy's, and you're not wrong. While Luffy's fruit turned him into rubber, Katakuri ate the Mochi-mochi fruit, which turned his body into mochi. In case you're wondering, mochi is a type Japanese pastry made with rice flour and is often served soft and kinda doughy. Other than that, the main difference between the abilities of Luffy and Katakuri is that Katakuri is a logia while Luffy seems to be a paramecia (given the abilities he's displayed up to this point I have my doubts.) The rest will be explained in the upcoming episodes, and I can hardly wait for your reaction to them.
