Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Unfortunately, that absolutely makes sense. I just wish it'd be easier to specifically search for the sort of audios you make. Just out of curiosity, I ran some 'find similar channels' search engines yesterday, and some of these suggest the genre term 'Audio Roleplay', among others. But I'm not sure that's really helpful, mainly since I don't think anyone would even know to search for that, even if it didn't also...sound a little bland? Either way, I think there are some excellent reasons to stick to Ree's Audio Adventures (I think it was?), since while you portray a LOT of different characters (you've been a freaking horse! A HORSE!), I think part of what makes you *you* is your ability to craft stories based on these roles. You're not just jumping from role to role for each audio just for the sake of it. It's usually not just for roleplay, but in the service of the narrative. 'Adventures' seems to put an emphasis on that. And besides, I have glimpsed deeply into your soul and concluded that you just like the word 'adventure'. So if you have to rename your channel, that's at least a little consolation, maybe? Sorry, now it's Pao rambling and nobody wants that. In any case, we'll just have to see what the machine gods think. I'm really hoping it'll make a difference!

I used to put ASMR in the title of some of my audios just to see if it helped, but every time without fail, I would get comments from people saying "boo this isn't ASMR, misleading." And to be fair, they're right. It's NOT ASMR, and if someone came to my channel looking for that and clicked on a regular audio, they'd probably be disappointed. Obviously a few of my audios are ASMR and I tag them that way, but outside of those, I don't want to mislead anyone. There are lots of great VAs who don't need to put ASMR in their names, and my hope is that the algorithm will lump me in with them once I get rid of the word it objects to. If I'm wrong, well, that's marketing - test and refine. I can always change it again at a later date if it comes to that. But I'm not quite ready to call my work something that it isn't just to get people to click. I hope that makes sense!

I didn't even know about D&D, I haven't really ventured into the discord, and I have never seen that.. Christmas special. So.. I guess there's stuff to explore? But, I did want to chime in on the name change. I just recently started listening to YouTube audios a couple of weeks ago, and starting out, I honestly thought that ALL VA-style audio content was.. ASMR. Like, I would just search YouTube, then start clicking - haphazardly, of course, as is the best way - on interesting audio titles. That somehow let me to this channel, because I got recommended your lore dump and I thought the name was fire (look, I love lore, OK?), but I have to say that to this day I wouldn't know how to specifically search for similar story driven, not strictly speaking ASMR content like yours. (Is there even a keyword to this?) So, since ASMR seems to at least be a.. relatively.. known thing, and it would help other lost souls like me find you, can we somehow make your content still.. findable.. with that keyword? I have no idea how this works, but if you have to change the name - and I'm sorry you feel like you need to do so to please some machine overlord -, I'd like it to be worth it. And thusly, my two cents have.. endeth? Have been spendeth? English is hard, you guys. Can I have a cookie now?
