This is why you see alot of people talk about the βBrooke effectβ. This is the exact thing that Kelly was talking about. Abby taking a kid, gave them love and attention, and when they get older, tired, and burned out, she moves on to another favorite. Brooke was her favorite and after she burned her out, she moved on to Maddie. She burned Maddie out, so now sheβs ok to Brynn.

Regardless, Abby clearly feels like Maddie is getting away from her and Maddie was supposed to catapult Abby to success but thatβs not exactly how it worked outβ¦
