Guys, it’s time to share some good news with you!!! First of all, yesterday they removed the drainage from my heart, and I was finally able to breathe and move on my own. I even managed to go to the bathroom by myself — to an actual bathroom, not just in bed — and it felt like such a huge moment of happiness that I even cried while sitting on the toilet 🙈. They moved me from the intensive care unit to a regular ward, and it feels amazing not to be lying next to people who are dying 😅. Without the fluid in my heart and without the drainage, it’s like I was reborn 😅.
In my ward, there’s an elderly Polish lady, and we spent half the night joking and laughing so much that I even got a fever from it 😂. In the morning, she told all the doctors that I’m an international volunteer, that I was featured in a German newspaper, appeared in a movie in the Czech Republic, that I save everyone in the world, speak multiple languages, and that I’m incredibly cheerful. She said that since I was placed in her room, I’ve been making her laugh so much that she feels a lot better. Can you imagine? 😅 Now the whole ward knows that I’m a famous volunteer and a “Petrosyan” (comedian) 😂.
The doctor even said that, considering everything I’ve been through, it’s the first time he’s seen someone with so much positivity and humor after almost dying yesterday 😅. I think laughter is the best medicine for beating death — keep that in mind!
