However, your assumption of who our spider protagonist is "present day", let's just say your damn hot but not quite yet to a touchdown. Also keep in mind the Queen Taratect mentioned near the end is the same creature that brought our protagonist into this world from an egg from the first episode (the one that tried to eat her assuming her to be either "Father" or "Mother"). Just keep in mind that she has chosen a course of evolution for her to remain mostly small for her desire to maintain and enhance her speed and agility. [Also just for reference for you; HP (Green) is Hit Points, MP (Blue) is Magic Points, and SP (Red and Yellow) is Stamina Points; Yellow basically is just Speed for immediate short bursts of energy, Red is for the overall energy that she has access to.] Also, I hope that, however miniscule the change might be, that this anime is helping you with your arachnophobia.
