Update on my health situation

The immunologist suggested the following diagnosis:
Hyperimmunoglobulin M syndrome with autoimmune complications in the form of antisynthase syndrome. Maybe not only that.
He, and also other doctors, suggested treatment with immunoglobulins and the worst thing about this is the cost of this drug, even though it is made in Ukraine.
One 100 ml bottle costs 24,000 hryvnia, I need 5 of these bottles per month - thatโs $3,200 and treatment for 6 months, thatโs $19,200 for this drug alone ๐ญ Plus, the organization where my husband worked is closing and he was left without a job. I donโt know how we can leave Ukraine in this situation, for what money to live there and for what money to be treated, I just donโt have the strength anymore, I donโt know what to do ๐

2024-02-13 15:08:55 +0000 UTCProbably doing a fundraiser on any platform, could be a thing. :( I believe the path of creativity and photography by itself is way too hard, and just to know you are struggling with this makes my heart break even more than it is already from many things I am struggling with myself, it is just not fair in any sense that there are such short amount of options just to be able to access a medical treatment which is by far not a luxury but a need. I guess if you sell prints for a fundraiser or something, people will answer at least at some level to try to make things lighter for you, your work and yourself are way beyond art, and many people will appreciate it, I believe there are platforms like Kickstarter, where you can kind of fundraising projects, I hope everything gets better for you, I do, because I admire not only your work but they way you go through life and how you take every day, for real, it's admirable! don't give up on finding ways please ๐ซ๐

2024-02-12 14:44:45 +0000 UTCEven though you are the only one that is experiencing all these terrible symptoms and know what does it mean to bear such an unberable situation, you must always remember that you're not alone, I'm sure there are a lot of people who loves you and will help in this terrible and unlucky situation. Maybe, there is an opportunity to pay in installments the medical expenses? Or to borrow some money? I know that these are not easy decisions, but I honestly don't think that there are easy ways to get through this. I know that what you desperatly need in this moment are a lot of money, but I think that also knowing that there are sooo many people who loves you and will always be by your side will help you going through all of this and, at least, alleviate by a little bit your sufferings. I love you and I will try to support you as much as I can. โค
