Anyways, Happy New Year! We're excited to kick off 2023 with an entirely new content experience - Hollow Shorts!
(** Hollow Shorts has now been rebranded to MGUniverse to include a variety of stories from characters at Magnolia Grove University**)
Think of them like bonus scenes from a movie - larger cg sets that have narrative to go along with them! This gives us a chance to explore more of the world we're building by telling stories and showcasing character interactions that may not fit into the narrative for the main game.
I would say right now MOST of these stories can be considered canon - but we definitely may have some fun doing some "what if" or more fantasy style stuff down the road - we'll let you know if something is specifically non-canon. Our first short takes place after Tyler's first soccer practice of the season - except it's told from the perspective of Myles - a new transfer student at MGU. This was a really fun one to do because it gave us a chance to show an outsider's perspective on Ty and show off a bit of the MGU athletics vibe in the process.
Also I have some cool behind the scenes tidbits I'll be sharing later this week in my first ever Dev Log for Hollow, so keep an eye out for that! We hope everyone had an amazing holiday and are ready to follow along with us for what we hope is an exciting 2023 for all these characters.

I think it helps breathe life into the world we’re creating! I want people to find nuances to each of our characters, and want it to feel like an inhabited universe that’s more than just cardboard cutouts 🥰

2023-01-04 07:05:29 +0000 UTCI whole heartedly agree with Procyon..I think one element in the NSFW adult novels that is consistently missing but you, Blayke and Arryn deliver every time is the character development..by getting to see the flaws, insecurities, perseverance, determination and heart through their internal dialogue, we glimpse each characters as individuals, the family dynamics and that makes them not only more relatable but also hotter and you end up really rotting for them to “live” their best lives. It is also a reflection of the writer/developer and what they are going through or went through to this stage of life. These side stories are awesome and sexy AF. Thank you for doing them!
