Uncut Frieren Ep 26

I will still be adding subtitles but I'm a tad out of it today with taking my first dose of Zoloft so wanted to just get this uploaded so it was available to access!

I have a theory about what Frieren's clone used at the end of the battle. It can be wrong, of course, its just a theory and I haven't read the manga, but i honestly think it was pure visualization. The height of magic. And the fact that the last time she used that was probably against the Demon King is what makes me think of that. When I was rewatching the show with you, something got my attention on episode 21: when Flamme is talking to Serie about how Frieren is going to be the one to defeat the Demon King. Flamme said that neither her nor Serie would be able to defeat the Demon King, because they could not visualize a world in where he didnt exist, a world of peace, but Frieren could. That said, since visualization is everything on their magic system, Serie wouldn't be able to defeat him. However, Frieren and her party did. Since Frieren used the same "ability" the replica used on Fern (and its not a spell), I think its pure visualization. Magic at its essence, at its highest point, not a spell (that uses magic), but magic itself. She just visualized Fern being thrown away and imobilized, her staff was also broken. And so she could've visualized a world in which the Demon King didn't exist when fighting him, since she was the only great mage capable of doing so.

It makes u think how powerful the Demon King was when the hero party faced him. That fight had to have been epic! I can imagine that they were just barely able to defeat him with 4 v 1. Especially with Frerin saying that if the whole group worked together they would be able to defeat her but most of them would end up dieing 😂

Awesome content! My understanding from watching this episode is that Ubel is a visceral mage rather than an intellectual one. Land remarks a few episodes ago that she casts spells without understanding them. She’s wired different. Also, in episode 23, Sense explains that the escape golems are developed by First-class Mage Lernen. So amongst the first class mages, we have at least a hair specialist and a golem specialist. This is a nice juxtaposition to the test-takers’ more rudimentary ice specialty or earth specialty, etc. I think of this like the contrast between graduate school theses vs the more general undergraduate majors.

Put a pin on the spell Frieren's replica used at the end of the engagement. IMHO, that was like a force (Star Wars)/Psonic (AD&D) slam by the replica and it did it without seemingly using any mana. So Frieren is probably A LOT more deadly.

Ubel’s ability reminds me of The Matrix. Basically, because the characters live in a fake reality, they can simply use incredible willpower to ignore physics. Flight, super speed, strength, etc. Ubel can do any spell that Ubel can envision herself doing. She stalks people until she can understand them, primarily to easier imagine herself casting their spell. Only this time, her target is a very private individual that she can’t even physically threaten because he clones himself. It’s the perfect setup for a romance-comedy in my humble opinion

Couple of things: 1-I love the outside team is using ice shards and dirt while in the boss room the Frierens are flinging black holes at each other, seeing the chasm of raw power between Frieren and the rest is awesome. 2-Übel my psycho queen just willing victory into existence

Repilica-Freiren's death stare at Fern before slamming her into the wall was terrifying. Fern even said "I didn't even recognise that as magic/a spell"
