I don't wanna be the kill joy here but there's a lot of comments that are giving too much away and confirming too much. Let me figure it out. Let the show explain it. 🙈 Just keep it hush unless I directly ask for an explanation on something.

The vow renouncing war could only affect a member of the royal family who becomes the Founding Titan wielder by the "normal" way: eating a previous wielder. It seems Karl Fritz didn't know about the possibility of a non-royal Founding wielder holding hands (or head XD ) with a Intelligent Titan wielder of royal blood. Too bad for the old Karlie: his let-us-all-die-together-in-peace plan is no more. Yeager brothers will now decide the fate of all Eldians.

I’ve watched a few other reaction channels react to AOT and it was always the same. They hand hold as you mentioned and foreshadow not knowing that saying things like “ooooo you’re not ready for what’s to come, it only gets crazy from here”, is also foreshadowing. I just want to say that I am the part of the fandom that just wants you to enjoy the show and enjoying the show for you seems to be figuring it out on your own. I respect it

They were seen blinking, blushing, and even gazing at onlookers. It's estimated that there is some brain activity, albeit limited, lasting anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds.
