Added 2025-05-05 20:39:55 +0000 UTCI usually edit out the pauses between sentences but it takes so long to do so if you noticed there's bigger gaps between words - I've kinda given up because it just doubles the amount of editing time I have to do and with this being such a long video I just did not have the patience haha!
I forgot to put the watermark over too haha! Oh well - special treat of having it without! I was rushing to try and get this up before bed so I just completely forgot.

Learning something important like if an afterlife or aliens exist would just freak me out, and it's not like I would be able to prove it to the rest of the world afterwards.

Hange and co. were really looking for a way out of the upcoming war but with Marley unwilling to compromise (or even talk at all) it was impossible to reach a peaceful solution. It's incredibly sad to see the unyielding gears of war starting to turn and being completely powerless to stop them. We know that our main characters are just replicating these cycles of violence and we want them to stop, but what option did they really have? This question really haunts me because it makes me think of the real world, which is full of these endless ethno-nationalistic conflicts, and makes me wonder if it will ever be possible to put a stop to the cycles of violence that keep fueling them. I know that "world peace" is such a naive wish (every pageant contestant in every cheap movie would sillily wish for it), but if I have to choose a question that I would want to know the absolute truth about, I think at this point I woudl ask: will humanity learn at some point how to live at peace with each other? Or are we bound to follow Erwin's words and fight with each other until there is one human or less?
