I think the Jaw Titan is pretty cool, I'd probably choose that. Plus I like evasion attackers.

2025-05-06 23:40:28 +0000 UTCIt's always been my personal opinion that unfortunately yes, I think Jean did resolve himself to pull the trigger and Falco was only saved by Pieck. (In the manga that moment was actually a chapter cliffhanger, so original readers had a full month to speculate what Jean would do, where as in the show it all happens in 10 seconds haha) My main reason for believing that is the small arc he went on in season 3, he internalized the lesson that in battle if he hesitates him or his friends will die. Additional evidence I'd use include the fact that in 4x8 he attempts to shoot Gabi and is only stopped by Falco. Obviously the circumstances are differemt there since Gabi had a gun and had just shot his friend, but my point is that if he did intend to shoot Falco then he wouldn't be the only kid Jean attempted to shoot that night. In his defense, I also believe especially based on the anime adaptation that Jean's fundamental humanity made him hesitate just long enough for Pieck's steam to actually save Falco. I like your interpretation as well that he made himself miss, I think that's a valid reading but not one I've ever been optomistic enough to share

2025-05-05 19:25:54 +0000 UTCIn contrast to Bert’s titan who had ears but didn’t have lips, perhaps symbolizing the warriors/marley’s unwillingness to talk/negotiate

2025-04-29 07:50:53 +0000 UTCI love how haunting the OST is when Falco first emerges into the warzone. Also the song during Eren using the Jawhammer is fondly known as "the Nutcracker Theme"

2025-04-29 07:39:26 +0000 UTCI believe the Falco/Jean/Pieck spear "debacle" is a mix of 2 things. Jean hesitates and fires in a way to try to hit Pieck and not hurt Falco but Pieck intentionally comes out at that moment to dodge the spear with the steam(in the manga it is more obvious). Still, I think if Jean hits her, Falco probably dies from the schrapnel alone. We have seen Mikasa and Sasha hurt by schrapnel even though the explosion didn't get them, and we will se more scenes with thunder spears which will make this more obvious, in my opinion. Still, I think the important thing is Jean, who before(S3) hesitated in killing someone his own age, now was willing to risk killing a kid for the mission. It shows the way war changes people, no matter how pure their heart or how good their morals. Like I've heard you say several times, they are all victims. Of war, of death, of PTSD, of lies and of indocrination. This is, in my opinion, one of the most hurtful episodes because they really humanized and made us care for what was "the enemy", before. If we didn't before, now we do know. So every death, every scene, we hurt with them. The screams of Galliard when he is forced to kill the Warhammer and Gabi and Falco's screams for Reiner for me are pure agony, always makes me tear up instantly. Still, for as much credit as we have to give to Isayama and the anime crew for making us understand and empathize with everyone on Marley's side, I think the only reason people do, is because deep inside everyone sees they are just.... people.... They are just caught up in all this. It always goes back to Marco: "But... We haven't even talked....".

2025-04-28 00:14:40 +0000 UTCThey are weak on the air because they rely on navel (ships) and land (Titans). Yes, all their Titans are land locked bar the Colossal arguably. Leaving them at a severe disadvantage when it comes to controlling the air space because technology is developing at a rapid rate. Their focus has been on their Titans to such an extent that they are lacking in specific areas e.g. the air space. Which we know because it's exploited by Hange with no retaliation. If they had control of the air space why were there no countermeasures used against the blimp? Because they are lacking in that area allowing Paradise to get ahead of them. It's very heavily implied that this is the one area they aren't up to speed with.

2025-04-27 10:29:25 +0000 UTCMarley isnt weak in the air compared to Paradis. They just dont have a titan that can fly and for that reason technology will soon overtake the titans.

2025-04-27 09:21:55 +0000 UTCSee - my dad's military and I grew up within it all my life but I still find myself unable to pick a side because both sides have done horrible things. I won't deny that war was inevitable and there is a valid justification at this point in time but I can't sanction the reckless disregard of civilian lives :(

2025-04-27 09:15:03 +0000 UTCGreat Reaction!! I think it's cause I'm in the military that I support paradise so much. Because what is a life worth? For me a life is priceless, so even if the world forgot there hatred for eldians and wanted peace. I wouldn't accept it because losing my family would destroy me. And no amount of money or I'm sorry would bring them back. So Marley 100% had it coming in my opinion. I choose the attack titan cause it looks cool Thank you for your reactions and can't wait for more in the future!!

2025-04-27 09:08:34 +0000 UTCAwesome reaction as usual, Sophie. I definitely don’t mind the length of your reactions, each is full of substance. I wouldn’t wish to be a titan but if I really had to bec I were in a story as cruel as AoT, I’d choose the Colossal. Like Armin, I’m not really good at fighting. So I think I’d be most useful just exploding strategically. 😅😂

2025-04-27 06:39:21 +0000 UTC46:00 depends on details in the hypothetical and also on some spoilery stuff... warhammer does seem like the best especially if you want to use it outside of combat, you could jsut use it to manufacture things though, if the 13 year timelimit is a thing I'd much rather have none
