the whole "king never does anything" thing borders somewhere between "do our memories define us and are we still us with someone elses memoreis" and the cosmic horror of implying forbidden knloweldge that completely breaks ones mind and historia refusing to "become a god" to break out of htat cycle perfectly mirrors the coup replacing people who have secret knowledge with people who don't have that knowledge but are willing to change things

I absolutely love this episode. One of the best of the series(so far) for me. The moment Historia throws the syringe and the chorus for her theme plays i get shivers! And the lyrics playing in the background as she rages and gets completely unleashed while, on the nose, are perfect for the moment. Specially the: "You're bigger, bigger! Why do you hide? I will shiver, shiver! It's suicide! But if there's no desire; To get back out alive; You're a zero!" There are a lot of catartic moments in AoT so far, but this might be one of the few that is a pure "release" of energy, impossible not to cheer xD right?

Standout moment in S3 for me is Historia remembering Ymir here and shattering the vial, the way the animation is timed to the music is so choice. Also Rod done fucked up trying to manhandle a girl from the survey corps 😆
