Uncut AOT 3 x 4
Added 2025-01-23 12:38:03 +0000 UTCAdding in some precautions by including a mark over the screen as I do on YouTube. Of course - it is less transparent.
The footage remains uncut but just taking some extra steps here and there to make sure that my Patreon is safe!
Having direct upload access is so helpful. It's going to make scheduling so much easier instead of having to wait for Google Drive to take hours to render a single video.

Since I don't think I saw anyone else mentioning it I enjoyed hearing your theories about a certain last name

2025-02-02 20:05:51 +0000 UTCIt's just history repeating itself. Like Hange stated, the people's voice holds so much power and there are always steps we can make towards systemic change. Fear-mongering is just another tactic. I'm very much re-invigorated by recent events

Political figureheads and the media are used to decide and manipulate the masses into either a state of hopelessness or fear. Phew! Sorry, had to vent for a bit as an American

2025-01-24 18:19:33 +0000 UTCI actually feel some sympathy for Historia's mom. It seems like she got caught up in everything without much control. She had a relationship with a rich man, got pregnant, and probably thought having his child would secure her future (In Historia's memories, she wasn't doing any chores and went to lavish events frequently). She likely didn’t realize this decision would drag her into a dangerous, life-or-death power struggle. A Game of Thrones kind of situation. Living with the constant fear of being killed at any moment and only surviving because of the whims of powerful figures must have been terrifying. That fear was apparent the night Kenny showed up at her door, bringing her worst nightmare to life. Fear can push people to do irrational, even cruel things. If someone associates all their fear and trauma with a single source, like her own child, it’s not surprising they’d lash out and have resentment towards them. I always remember how she said, "If I only I had the courage to kill the child," implying that some part of her cared enough for Historia to allow her to grow up at all; she clearly thought that her life would be safer and simpler of Historia just didn't exist. While I don’t condone how she treated Historia, I think it’s somewhat understandable, given how deeply fear can warp a person’s mind. Great reaction, as always! I loved your perspective on the political situation; that is one of my favorite parts of this season. I CAN NOT Wait for Monday!

2025-01-24 03:27:56 +0000 UTCSo excited for the next few drops, going to be hard waiting for Monday lol :D I think it is interesting that Isayama wanted to make a juxtaposition showing that the two groups are both using the same tactics, both are using torture cruelty and threats to get information. We see Levi torturing the MP commander and then cut to Erwin laying in a cell with a swollen black eye. We feel like cheering Levi on as he breaks the beaten man's limbs, and anger toward the people who would beat a one armed soldier. Similarly earlier in the season we are angry when the MPs pull out all of Nick's fingernails and beat him to death, but have no trouble justifying it when Hanje returns the favor. It also reminds me of when Levi is talking to Armin and Jean saying that he wasn't making proclamations about what the right thing to do is, he doesn't even know for certain for himself what is right, he's just doing what he has to. (Clearly I'm using a broad brush "we" here, I can't actually speak to how anyone else felt)

2025-01-23 23:15:37 +0000 UTCYour excitement is palpable! And yes, I think this arc of the story is probably the most underrated (mainly because there's so much good stuff in AoT). But the Scouts as fugitives and Erwin gambling such a huge gamble - it's very exciting!
