Update on Life Stuff
Added 2025-01-22 14:07:11 +0000 UTCI got a start date for my job yesterday which I was really excited about because it gave me another 5 weeks to pump out content.
Unfortunately, they've informed me today that I am actually starting on the 10th February. So a lot sooner than intended.
I've had to make a hard decision which I really didn't want to have to do which is to put Frieren temporarily on hold. I've 12 more episodes of Death Note. As soon as Death Note is finished I'll be filming again for Frieren as that will be the next series on YouTube. It will also mean you are significantly ahead by 6 weeks and further.
Filming for 3 series has been incredibly hard as I do all the editing myself and trying to get everything onto Patreon has also taken a lot of time. I bit off way more than I could possibly chew. Pretty much dove in headfirst when I should have taken it slow by doing only AOT and Death Note or only doing AOT.
But only focusing on 2 series at a time does give me some leeway as I film around 4 episodes per series not to mention editing for Patreon and then for YouTube.
I really did not want to have to make this call but needs must when real life takes a hold. I will be re-watching the first 12 episodes prior to starting up filming again. I just ask you to be patient until Death Note is finished which should be within the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Honestly 3 series + editing was always gonna be too much especially for you as someone who isnt trying to be a full time content creator. Glad you made the decision to take some of that weight off.

Idk who would find it annoying to be kept in touch with the creator they are supporting. some other creators I have noticed are pretty bad at keeping their audience in the loop, so many patrons are annoyed or just left in the dark about stuff like the weekly schedule.

I feel I owe that to you all at least as a form of gratitude!

I'm glad to hear that once you get back to recording Frieren you will be able to enjoy it and analyze it at your own pace, rather than trying to cram it in, stress about it and treating it as a chore. I think that both you and the show deserve it, so I'll be looking forward to those reactions when the time comes!

I've seen way too much bullshit with some other reactors who just get to it straight ahead after MONTHS and, of course, they don't remember anything that happened and couldn't possibly be invested, and that just seems to be the normal way? I'm so annoyed! That bit was important to me. Love you. You're the best!

May be 1 extra here and there depending on how much I film and edit as I'm going to try filming weekends and editing weekdays instead! Less tired from work = more opportunity for throwing in an additional episode here and there haha!

It would be incredibly selfish of me as a creator to prioritise one community over another. So nope I won't be stopping to focus only on AOT and I think it should be very evident why I wouldn't do that. You'd be incredibly angry and upset if I just dropped AOT now for Death Note so imagine that in reverse? I've dedicated my time to both and I'll continue to do so. Frieren is on hold because it's not a YouTube published series yet so it can afford to wait.
