2025-01-20 08:05:05 +0000 UTCNot spoilers since this was covered in the show already. Rem and Ryuk have their own death notes and neither of them lent either of those to Misa/Light. Like Rem told Misa back when she was explaining how to kill a shinigami, Ryuk tricked the Shinigami King and was able to get another death note, and that's the one that he dropped into the human world and Light found. Misa's notebook is the one that Rem got when Gelus died next to her. All of this info is from episode 12 if you wanna go back to it for reference.
