Posted early as the YT video is going live tonight + I didn't get to film beyond Ep 18 due to a needy cat putting me a tad behind again -.-
I also won't lie and say I'm not feeling a bit of burn out. It's become very time consuming filming / editing 3 series. Just feel like I might need to drop one at some point but it'd feel so unfair cause I've been posting Death Note onto YouTube. I've also been really enjoying Frieren and worry that by the time I go back I'll have forgot everything.
Hoping it's just a blip due to stress of having another real life responsibility. Just sucks a little as I can feel my energy is not where it's usually at :')

Absolutely!! They're the same but on 2 different sides of the coin. It makes me wonder how L would use the Death Note and I imagine it would be similar to Light!

The way he uses Lind L Tailor as a sit in to be sacrificed and shows no apprehension about it is literally the same as Light when he’s killing and experimenting on criminals They both have a disregard for people when it comes to their own sense of “justice”

2025-01-18 20:10:12 +0000 UTCMisa's character definitely degraded since her introduction, and her writing is unfortunately somewhat inconsistent or shallow even later on. I don't think they changed the animation or character styles. Maybe they're using less of the stylistic scenes as there's no similar confrontational situations between L and Kira now that the new Kira is still unknown, and Light is the new moral compass instead.
