Where's AOT?

I'm trying to be very polite in the way I phrase this because I have been incredibly transparent and already mentioned multiple times that I was taking a break for Christmas, but it is getting tiring having people harp on about where AOT is.

It is coming. I took a break for Christmas which I posted about on here but I also rushed to get out the episodes I had filmed so that you could enjoy them over my break. I didn't have to do that but I did it out of kindness. I was ahead with AOT which meant I had to focus on Frieren and Death Note. Frieren had a break for 3 weeks on the Patreon. Death Note was lacking early access.

Today was the first time this week between editing and filming other shows that I had the time to watch AOT.

I've also said that content will slow down because of real life. I was over-working myself and burning out. That content will be dropped once a week on a Sunday for Frieren, Death Note, and AOT. This week is an exception due to having taken a break for the holidays and I'm having to play catch up.

Again - this has been mentioned previously when I updated everyone about accepting a full time job.

I am one person. There is no one behind the scenes. I film all 3 series. I edit all 3 for Patreon & YouTube. Create the Thumbnails. Upload. It's all on me and I have a life outside of the internet too that I can't neglect.

I get that you are all excited for more content from me but you need to learn patience. I am incredibly grateful to you all but at the same time nagging at me about content is not going to make it come out quicker. If anything it contributes to burn out because I feel exhausted having to meet people's expectations of quick and fast.

Quality content takes time. I am doing my best. So be patient because if I burn out then content stops altogether.

On the one hand people bugging you means they enjoy your content, on the other it seems universal that indie creators like you have to deal with an unreasonable amount of entitlement and/or laziness. Similarly frustrating are those who tell you not to take it personally. Your feelings are valid. Work at your own pace as far as I am concerned. You are only human after all.

Oh so I explained this a while ago on YouTube but it was easily missed. My hard drive corrupted and I lost the original 6 which was why I didn't make a Patreon for the first month or so because I felt it wasn't worth doing - but people still wanted me to even though the first 6 were missing. So I made a Patreon with what I had and then just added the new episodes. I also bought an external hard drive to prevent that from happening again haha!!

Sophie Anders

The first 6 episodes were filmed before Patreon was set up and I believe the unedited reactions were unfortunately lost. Can’t recall where it was mentioned but we have to make do with the versions currently on YT.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned somewhere else, but the first 6 (I think) AOT episodes aren't posted on here. I looked around when I first joined, but couldn't find them. Will those be uploaded or did they have to be removed at some point?

Critical

Yes but I was rushing to get them all up before holidays and social events so it was easy to just post them at once than trying to schedule everything. I will be scheduling in future but again that just depends on time frames for editing :)

Sophie Anders

isn´t there a possible way to shedule posts to come online at a preset date and time?

Happy to wait as long as it takes. You're a great reacter and your breakdowns are awesome!

Alex Kaiser

Yeah the mass upload of AOT was because I knew I was taking a break and wouldn't be on the computer as much :) It was so people had access to them whether I was online or not as I like to take breaks from being on the computer from time to time for mental health reasons!

Sophie Anders

I hope that this is only a small part of this community who put´s you under this kinda stress. I atleast got the feeling so faar that most of us are quite patient and understand the workload you have burdend yourself with. Ofc. we are looking forward for the next episodes - we are hungry for your rumbling and theorising afterall, but just take it at your own pace. That beeing said, seeing how you uploaded 10 episodes of aot in 14 days.. You actualy could have stretched them out a bid better with releasing them. But "could, would, should..." Whatever an creator does, cursed either way

ricardo böckmann

But I need it! I'm so bored, because there's nothing else I can watch on the internet! (that's sarcasm, obviously)

I've seen other reactors too mentioning same thing in their videos in ways where they hide their frustration by laughing it off when explaining they can't do it faster than they can. I get people are excited, but it's sad when people forget the content creator is only human. As sad as that is tho, it's at least a sign that you're an awesome content creator<3 Or else people wouldn't have such a huge impatience. And I can tell you for sure I check your patreon every day for new AOT uploads haha! Obviously haven't expected there to be some in a bit tho when getting this christmas gift given of 4 whole AOT episodes between Dec 23-24, + your earlier post about you going to be busy with irl work. Just take the time you need, and if people aren't satisfied with that, I wanna remind them that the door is open for them to leave at any point.

I'm sure the heavy majority of us on Patreon know you go above and beyond for us and appreciate your transparency and passion. Your enthusiasm is infectious and we'd never even consider compromising that. If you aren't enjoying the process, then we aren't. Just remember the unreasonable voices tend to be the loudest and that most of us (who don't necessarily comment frequently) are thrilled with sharing your experiences and complaining hasn't even crossed our minds; especially with how how kind, clear, and transparent you've been! If people keep nagging just tell them AOT is on Crunchyroll 🤣

Russell Gambardella

Most definitely completely understandable! People need to learn patience. Take your time, process, and enjoy the show the way it's suppose to be. No expectations, but to love the show, the story, and cook on theories like we all did. Lol if it takes a long time to get threw, then it just takes that time. No rush, we don't want you getting burnt out. We cant wait, dont get us wrong, but it's definitely wrong to push you beyond your limits. Keep going the way you are and just ignore the peeps trying to rush or ask when the next episode is. Your always clear with your channel and content. QUIT COMPLAINING YOU FOOLS! Just enjoy the content when it's released. Geez lmao
