During this part, I really got attached to the scouts fighting for them, especially Nanaba. It broke my heart when she died. :( Also, viewers: OMG this is absolutely crazy. Isayama: What? 2024-12-17 05:18:25 +0000 UTCWhile fireman carrying that Titan is impressive, it's not nearly impossible. Reiner is 6'1, and the Titan was probably around 7'5 or 2.3meters, around 500 lbs would be my estimate. I personally know people who can squat 800 lbs (which is harder than fireman carrying).

2024-12-17 02:50:57 +0000 UTCOne thing about Reiner's strength, he is not actually superhumanly strong, if you remember before Hange mentioned that titan body parts were impossibly light compared to their size so, yes, reiner is strong physically, but nothing too out of the ordinary.

They where all holded seemingly "half imprisoned" till the start of season 2.

2024-12-16 17:42:35 +0000 UTCObviously the answer to most of your questions is "Keep Watching" There were a few more points where you said something and I just have to bite my tongue so hard until you get more info XD. I know you've already seen the next episode so I can say I love how much Ymir just faded into the background for all of season one, and yet you can see at every point she is glued to Krista's side. Isayama is really good about laying breadcrumbs. I remember watching S1 the first time and wondering why there was so much "filler" and on rewatch you definitely don't feel like there's much filler. That being said I'll echo what others have said... save the rewatch for after the series ends. You will get more context by editing and I think that's fine, but you may preempt some big reveals for yourself if you rewatch what you've already seen too deeply. <3
